Islamic school ordered off public property for Islamic Jew-hating course material

Posted on: May 17th, 2012

Truth be told, all permits of madrassahs and Islamic schools should be pulled. Islamic Jew-hatred is a holy tenet of Islam. It's in the quran.

TORONTO — The Toronto District School Board has forbidden a controversial Islamic school from operating out of one of its properties.

The board revoked the permit for the East End Madrassah, a Sunday school for Muslim children, citing an ongoing police investigation into alleged anti-Semitic course material.

East End Madrassah came under fire earlier this month after Jewish groups objected to material posted on its website.

A curriculum document compared Judaism with Nazism and said that "treacherous jews" had killed Islam's Prophet.

TDSB spokeswoman Shari Schwartz-Maltz says East End Madrassah will have to find a new meeting place until the police investigation is complete, adding the board has also requested a meeting with school officials to ensure their teachings are in line with the board's policies.

Schwartz-Maltz says East End Madrassah complied willingly and was quick to apologize for the controversy.

"We've had a relationship with the organization for about 30 years, and in that 30 years we've had no complaints whatsoever," she said.

Jewish groups praised the board's decision, calling it an excellent first step.

David Spiro, Toronto co-chair of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, said he hopes the TDSB will eventually sever all ties with the school.

"Given the presence of anti-Semitic passages in the curriculum, and the dubious activism of its religious leadership, it is clear that the Madrassah has disqualified itself as a partner with the School Board on any level," Spiro said in a statement.

Madrassah issued a written apology for the controversial passages on its website, which it said should never have been included in its curriculum.

The offending material was removed immediately after the organization received a complaint on May 3, it said.

"Our curriculum is not intended to promote hatred towards any individual or group of people, rather the children are taught to respect and value other faiths, beliefs and to uphold Canada's basic values of decency and tolerance," Madrassah said in the statement issued earlier this month.

Department of Justice Expected to Cut Ties with Hamas-CAIR

Posted on: May 17th, 2012

All government agencies should sever ties with unindicted co-conspirator Hamas-CAIR. Their terror ties are well documented. The subversive group's head beekeeper, Ibrahim Hooper, is trotting out the Muslim victimhood myth, jihadophobia and the rest of the manufactured distractions designed to shift blame onto the very lawmakers protecting the American people.

We need a vigorous campaign to purge Muslim Brotherhood groups from the centers of power of all three branches of the US government. But Brotherhood infiltration is particularly bad at the Department of Justice, which has, in effect, become the defacto legal arm of Muslim Brotherhood groups like CAIR in America. If you missed my expose on how the DOJ kowtows to the Muslim Brotherhood, read this. I received hundreds of documents in response to my FOIA request, which I filed well over to a year ago. Specifically, I asked for "records relating to the meeting of the 'Monthly Outreach Meeting' with Muslim and Arab groups at the Civil Rights Division. Specifically, include lists of attendees at each monthly meeting, the agenda of each meeting including the meetings at which the Attorney General of the United States attended.

The principal impact of reading through the material was the sheer bulk of it. Hundreds and hundreds of pages of emails, documenting nearly daily and friendly contact, consultation, cooperation and collaboration between the DOJ and Hamas-linked Muslim Brotherhood groups. One thing is clear, the Muslim Brotherhood has fully infiltrated command and control at the Department of Justice civil rights division.

Accountability is long overdue.

DOJ Expected to Formalize Policy on Contacts with Muslim Advocacy Group Main Justice May 16, 2012

The Justice Department is expected to formalize a policy governing its relationship with the controversial Council on American-Islamic Relations, a House aide says — a move the FBI took in 2009.

The House passed a Commerce, Justice and science appropriations bill for fiscal year 2013 on Wednesday, with an accompanying committee report that encourages Attorney General Eric Holder to follow the FBI and formally ban official contacts with the Muslim advocacy group.

“The Committee understands that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has an existing policy prohibiting its employees from engaging in any formal non-investigative cooperation with CAIR,” the report states. “The Committee encourages the Attorney General to adopt a similar policy for all Department officials.”

Daniel Scandling, a spokesman for Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.), who chairs the appropriations subcommittee, told Main Justice: “The expectation is that they’ll follow” the recommendation.

In a 2008 federal trial in Texas, members of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, an Islamic charity, were convicted of supporting Hamas, a U.S.-designated terrorism group.

Evidence at trial revealed that CAIR was formed by members of a U.S.-based support network for the militant Palestinian group, which conducted a campaign of suicide bombings against Israel in the 1990s. Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

The U.S.-based founders of CAIR also were part of a wider network based in the Washington, D.C., suburbs before the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks that maintained ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and later, through the Dar al Hijrah mosque in Virginia, where Anwar al-Awlaki once preached, al Qaeda off shoots. Among the Islamist leaders circulating in that ’90s milieu was Mousa Abu Marzook, now Hamas’s No. 2 leader.

After the 9/11 attacks, when knowledge of Islamist networks in the U.S. was still developing, Bush administration officials frequently met with CAIR and other Muslim advocacy groups with questionable ties, sparking controversy. Wolf was a critic of such contacts during the Bush administration as well.

In a February House Appropriations Committee hearing, Holder said he was unsure whether a formal policy existed today governing Department of Justice contacts with CAIR, but he confirmed that he has refused to go to meetings where CAIR members were slated to attend.

“I myself, I have refused to go to particular meetings knowing that CAIR was going to be there,” Holder said.

CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper suggested anti-Muslim bias motivates some lawmakers.

“It’s unfortunate that some members of Congress abuse their positions to carry out personal vendettas against religious minorities,” he told Main Justice.

Hooper said CAIR works with the FBI and Justice Department “on a daily basis on a number of civil rights issues.” He said law enforcement outreach to the Muslim community is hampered when lawmakers “pander to Islamophobes in this way.”

During the February hearing, Wolf asked Holder to later provide to the committee the department’s policy for U.S. Attorneys attending meetings with members of CAIR. The department responded, saying it does not maintain any formal policy.

“The Department of Justice has no formal policy governing the engagement of the United States Attorneys’ Offices with CAIR representatives or members,” the department wrote the committee. “The U.S. Attorney community, however, is well aware of the FBI’s policy regarding its own interaction with CAIR and, as a result, before engaging with CAIR, U.S. Attorneys’ Offices usually consult with their respective FBI districts.”

A Justice Department spokesman wrote in an email that he could not comment on the committee’s request for a formal policy. He did say in the email that “the Department understands that there are times when people who have some affiliation with CAIR may be present at community meetings and other events across the country that include DOJ officials.”

He continued: “As law enforcement officials, we engage with a range of community groups, but we always do what is necessary to preserve the integrity of our investigations and our cases to ensure public safety and our national security.”

AFDI/SIOA, FMU to Host “Summer Night for Human Rights” in Defense of Iranian Pastor Sentenced to Death for Leaving Islam

Stand against sharia and the death penalty for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani,  sentenced to death in Iran for apostasy. June 23rd, Marriott Manhattan Beach from 6 pm to 9 pm.  Email AFDISIOA@aol.com to register.

Hamas-CAIR is holding a "civil rights" event in support of sharia (at a hundred bucks a ticket), "A Summer Night of Civil Rights", down the block from our human rights event. It sounds more like a summer night for Islamic supremacism. Stand against subversion, diversion, and deception.

AFDI/SIOA, FMU to Host “Summer Night for Human Rights” in Defense of Iranian Pastor Sentenced to Death for Leaving Islam Yahoo

NEW YORK, May 16: The prominent human rights organization American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and its Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) program, along with Former Muslims United (FMU) will be hosting the first-ever “Summer Night for Human Rights” Town Hall dedicated to defending the freedom of conscience. Dedicated to Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, who has been sentenced to death in Iran for leaving Islam, the Summer Night for Human Rights will feature Muslim apostates from around the world, and call upon Muslims in the U.S. and the world human rights community to defend their right to change their religion or have no religion at all, and to denounce the Sharia that mandates such punishment.

The AFDI/SIOA Summer Night for Human Rights Town Hall will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Manhattan Beach, California. AFDI/SIOA Executive Director Pamela Geller chose that location because of its proximity to the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations’ “Summer Night for Civil Rights” event being held at the same time down the block in Redondo Beach. The Summer Night for Human Rights will call upon the CAIR spokesmen to renounce Islam’s death penalty for apostasy and defend the human rights of those who choose to leave Islam. It will ask CAIR leaders to stop creating roadblocks to Sharia prohibitions in the U.S., pointing up CAIR’s hypocrisy in sponsoring a “civil rights” night while supporting a system of governance that denies the freedom of conscience, as well as the freedom of speech and equality of rights of all before the law.

Hamas-linked CAIR is selling tickets for its “Summer Night for Civil Rights” for as much as $100; admission to the AFDI/SIOA Summer Night for Human Rights is free. Register to attend by writing afdisioa@aol.com.

Geller said in a statement: “All the schools of Islamic law, without exception, mandate death for those who leave Islam. We’ve dedicated the Town Hall to Pastor Youcef because he is in imminent danger of being murdered for his beliefs, and we’ve invited numerous apostates from Islam to speak about the death sentence they must live under every moment because they have dared to leave Islam. We’re calling upon Hamas-tied CAIR to stand up for Pastor Youcef and other victims of Islam’s apostasy law at their so-called ‘Civil Rights’ conference so-called ‘Civil Rights’ conference and to stand for human rights for all. Under the guise of ‘civil rights,’ these subversive groups seek to undermine the unalienable rights guaranteed to every individual under the Constitution. Their ruse must be exposed, their Sharia agenda renounced. What Islamic supremacist groups in the U.S. speak for Pastor Youcef?”

Geller added: “Apostates from Islam have rights, too. The freedom of conscience is specifically protected in the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Yet apostates are completely forgotten in our politically correct culture, in which speech that is offensive to Islam is increasingly forbidden. We’re standing for the human rights of people like Youcef Nadarkhani. While CAIR officials Zead Ramadan and Cyrus McGoldrick are appearing on Iranian government TV complaining about resistance to Sharia in America, Youcef is languishing in an Iranian prison for exercising his freedom of conscience. Who speaks for him? They should be on Iranian television calling for the release of the pastor, not denouncing America. Our Human Rights Town Hall calls out Islamic supremacist groups in America to cease and desist their subversive activity under the guise of ‘civil rights’ or ‘Shariaphobia.’”

Hosting the Summer Night for Human Rights Town Hall are Pamela Geller, publisher of the acclaimed AtlasShrugs.com blog, executive director of AFDI and SIOA, and author of Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance (WND Books); and AFDI/SIOA associate director Robert Spencer, the bestselling author and director of Jihad Watch, whose most recent book is Did Muhammad Exist? An Inquiry Into Islam’s Obscure Origins.

The confirmed list of speakers also includes some of the nation’s most prominent ex-Muslims: the human rights activist Nonie Darwish of Former Muslims United, author of Now They Call Me Infidel; the psychologist and freedom fighter Wafa Sultan, author of A God Who Hates; and the Islamic scholar Ibn Warraq, author of Why I Am Not A Muslim; former Palestinian terrorist Walid Shoebat; and Moroccan ex-Muslim Ismail Zarouali.

AFDI/SIOA is one of America’s foremost organizations defending human rights, religious liberty, and the freedom of speech against Islamic supremacist intimidation and attempts to bring elements of Sharia to the United States.

What is Wrong with Socialism?

Posted on: May 17th, 2012
The American Dream used to mean an opportunity to achieve success through hard work, rather than being promised a free ride at others’ expense. Those of us who respect the former, rather than believe in the latter, have an instinctive disdain for “socialism.” But mention anything untoward about socialist ideals in polite society nowadays, and [...]

The Muslim Brotherhood

In previous articles I have provided some insight into the goals of radial Islam in an effort to enlighten Americans on the subject.  Robert Spencer wrote a pamphlet of the same issue which you can download at: [...]

Libertarians Against Hard Work Or Alternately The Balanced Life Vs. The Unbalanced Life

Posted on: May 17th, 2012
Over at Reason, Shikha Dalmia wrote a strange piece called, “Jack Welch vs. Feminists: The Dumb Debate Over Female CEOs.” It’s a weird column not because of the comments about feminists, but because Dalmia may be the first Libertarian I’ve ever seen who seems to have contempt for people who work hard and succeed. General Electric CEO Jack Welch ignited a firestorm recently when he told female executives that to become top dogs (like him), they have to toughen up. “Over-deliver,” he lectured. “Performance is it.” Forget about “life balance.” ...
