On this episode of Duke over America on the mighty FTR Radio Duke is joined by Demetrius Minor who is going to be moving to Alexandria, LA in August to participate in a 90-day intense ministerial training center. Demetrius talks about what he will be doing there and the fundraiser he is holding to try to cover some of the costs http://www.gofundme.com/25mqng. We also get a lil baseball talk in.

2nd segment Donlyn Turnbull and Sara Smith join Duke to talk about this weeks “Behind the Bottle” segment and how to make this drink right here…..

Cinco de Mayo Diablo

4 dice-sized chunks of fresh ginger
2 slices of tangerine (peeled)
1oz Simple syrup (equal parts boiling water and sugar. Chilled)
1oz Lime juice
2oz tequila
2oz Pomegranate juice

In a shaker (or pint glass) muddle the ginger and tangerine slices. Muddle it good and muddled.
Fill the vessel with ice on top of your muddled ingredients.
Add simple syrup, lime juice, tequila, and Pom juice.

Close shaker/cover your pint glass and shake it. Shake it until your ice starts breaking up.

Strain the drink into a martini glass and garnish with a slice of tangerine.
