FTR Radio is a co-sponsor of the weekend convention being hosted by Red State on September 17-19. The event will include guest speakers such as Texas governor Rick Perry, New Jersey governor Chris Christy and Liz Cheney. The agenda will be released later this week, but the most important thing you need to know is that the discounted hotel rate goes away on Thursday. [Read more...]

All Good Things Come From The Right.

America is in trouble. Ours is an amazing and beautiful country that has done more good for the world than any other country in human history. Whether you look at things from a human perspective, or a financial perspective or a charity, creativity or productivity perspective, AMERICA is unmatched! Contrary to what our president and his kool-aid drinking followers think, it is my firm belief that the world should be THANKING America for all it has done, not condemning America for what it has failed to do. “All politics is local.”

There are many elections coming up, but Arizona is next in the queue. If you live in Arizona, VOTE. If you don’t, do what you can to help spread the word about Pamela Gorman. Email your friends and family. Post this on Facebook, tweet it. Spread the word.  Time is of the essence! This is not about generating web site traffic, it is about motivating Arizona voters into action next week. Pamela Gorman is good for America. [read more...]

Cut the “Faux” News crap.

When someone actually stands up to Liberals and punches them in the nose, their true identities are revealed and the liberal bully becomes a crying, whiny baby that runs home to mommy screaming “Not fair! Mommy!”

Liberals can’t stand the fact that there is one single news channel willing to call bull**** on the left when it lies and distorts. The left has groups like Media Matters that exist solely to find any statement possible on Fox or from the Right that could be twisted into something worthy of screaming about. But the left is the master of actual distortion. [read more...]

If a black man does the killing, the press is unwilling…

I was going to address this topic here, but Jack Cashill at AmericanThinker.com has done the heavy lifting and deserves the traffic. He succinctly points out the many concerns and issues around our president’s complete lack of interest in the mueder of eight people by a man in Connecticut. Teachable moment lost. Pamela Gorman Day

Reposted from StephenKruiser.com

Welcome to the “put up or shut up” phase of the 2010 election year.

For years, we conservatives have experienced a steady dose of buyer’s remorse with seemingly every Republican elected to represent us. Frustration and anger with the Obama/Pelosi/Reid three-headed bureaucratic monster but the seeds of crankiness were sown by a Republican Congress that spent money like a Kennedy kid on Spring Break.

We now face a unique set of circumstances leading into the fall elections and have a pretty clear choice in front of us: do we keep running candidates through the GOP mill and hope they don’t sell us out or do we go all-in for candidates who embody true conservative principles?

Pamela Gorman: Conservative Candidate and (Gasp!) a Woman

Reposted from Jenny Erikson on Cafe Mom
It is quite the primary season for Republican women. Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman have won the Republican primaries in California, for Senator and Governor, respectively. Sharron Angle is poised to face Harry Reid in the Nevada Senate race come November, and Nikki Haley won her gubernatorial primary in South Carolina.

There are other conservative chicks* running for reelection (Michele Bachmann and Marsha Blackburn come to mind), and some like Robin Smith and Pamela Gorman have not yet faced their primaries.

FTR at Right Online

FTR Radio has become the place to be heard if you are a conservative blogger, radio show host, activity, or politician. The following interviews were conducted at Right Online 2010 in Las Vegas.  The first video is FTR Radio’s Paul Croteau interviewing Herman Cain, a potential wave-maker in the race for the Republican presidential nomination (assuming he is running).  ;-) The second video has Smart Girl Politics co-founder Teri Christoph interviewing Americans For Prosperity president Tim Phillips.

FTR and SGP with Michele Bachmann at Right Online 2010

Michele Bachmann provided the keynote dinner speech at Right Online last weekend. The woman is simply amazing at so many levels: An experienced politician, a true conservative and a mother to five biological and 23 foster children. Her keynote speech ran the emotional gamut and the crowd of 1000+ attendees was putty in her hand. Smart Girl Politics co-founder Teri Christoph sat down with Congresswoman Bachmann and provided a wonderful, candid interview with one of the brightest stars in the political world today.

FTR Radio w/Tammy Bruce and Ed Morrissey at Right Online 2010

One of the great things about being a leader in Conservative-specific internet streaming and podcasting is the access we get to great Americans. Right Online was a blast of an event and there were lots of great attendees, guest speakers, bloggers and radio hosts. Please enjoy this fine pairing of Tammy Bruce and Ed Morrissey as interviewed by our own Loud Talker.
